Well after several months of nail biting speculation we have finally moved to our fabulous new home in rural Essex, on the outskirts of Thaxted. The new house is amazing and we feel privileged to be here. Dylan has an entire stable block to himself complete with leather sofa and carpet, whilst he potters in and out of the extensive garden during the day and at night he curls up in front of either the incredible open fire or the authentic wood burner in the day room.
There surely can't be a better place in the country for walking dogs than around Monk Street, Sibley Green and Thaxted and if there is, I'd take some convincing. The walks around here are idyllic and often you don't see another person for hours. The dogs have plenty of space to run around, swim or explore without any restrictions or worries about roads, cars or people - which is fabulous for them.
Rob thinks we are in our forever home and I may just be starting to agree with him.
